James Clendenin was born 1736 in Rockcastle, Lancaster Co, PA and died in Garrard Co, KY.

He married Margaret Anderson. She was born 10 April 1743 in Augusta Co, VA and died 1805 in KY. She was the daughter of William Anderson and Margaret Reid. View the Anderson line here.
